About the Competition
Les Étoiles Lyriques de Paris is an international opera singing competition open to both emerging and established artists, held in the heart of Paris in collaboration with the prestigious Nouvelles Étoiles project, active in over 94 countries.
More than a competition, it is an artistic and educational platform offering:
🎓 Masterclasses with renowned vocal coaches and opera singers
🎼 Stage work with a professional orchestra
🎤 Public concerts and Gala performance in iconic Paris venues
It’s an immersive experience designed to showcase new voices while fostering artistic exchange across generations.

PARTICIPATION & CATÉGORIES
The competition is open to opera singers and voice-piano duos from around the world, regardless of experience level. Participants are divided into three age-based categories:
🎤 Ages 15–18: students in music schools or specialized institutions
🎓 Ages 19–32: students or graduates from higher music institutions
🎭 Ages 33 and above: professional artists (no age limit)
👉 Two disciplines: Opera Singing & Vocal Chamber Music

Participants may choose to compete in one or both of the following disciplines:
Opera Singing (Lyrical Voice)

Solo performance of operatic arias in original language and key

Vocal Chamber Music
Includes art songs, lieder, mélodies, and duos with piano.
Special recognition is awarded to pianists as well.
Required Repertoire
🎶 Opera: 4 arias + 1 mandatory aria from the official list
🎥 First round: 2 video recordings
🎤 Final round: 2 live arias in Paris, including the mandatory one
Vocal Chamber Music: 4 pieces in original language and key
Masterclasses & Gala Concert
🎓 Internationally led masterclasses
🎻 Gala performance with the UniArt Orchestra, conducted by Maestro Raffaele Mascolo
